Frequently Asked Questions
What is The Future Networks Fellowship?
The Future Networks Fellowship is a first-of-its-kind community offering a year-long guided learning and networking experience exclusively designed for researchers, industry professionals, and academicians who want to build expertise and stay up to date with the latest advancements in 6G/IMT-2030, the application of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Large Language Models, AI Agents, and Multi Agent Systems in AI-native telecom networks, and other next-generation communications technologies.
Who is the Fellowship designed for?
The Fellowship is designed for individuals who want to become future-ready.
The telecom industry is undergoing rapid transformation. With the rapid advancement of AI, Large Language Models, and next-generation communication technologies- and with almost everyone predicting how AI will reshape 6G (we can probably blame ChatGPT for some of that!), it has become increasingly difficult to separate genuine technological progress from speculation.
The Fellowship equips individuals with the knowledge, insights, and perspective needed to understand emerging trends, distinguish hype from reality, adapt to technological shifts, and confidently prepare for the future of telecommunications.
What topics are covered?
The Fellowship learning content covers a wide range of topics, including 6G Evolution (in comparison with 5G or 5G Advanced), Role of AI, Large Language Models, and AI Agents in Telecom, AI-RAN, AI-Native 6G Architecture, Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), Digital Twins, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS), Semantic Communications, Federated Learning, Edge AI, Quantum Communications, Green Communications, 6G security, 3GPP advancements and standardization, insights from major industry events and key decisions, emerging industry trends, and much more.
The telecommunications industry is evolving faster than ever, and so is the Fellowship.
Our curriculum is continuously updated to reflect the latest technological advancements, research breakthroughs, and standardization activities.
Unlike conventional online courses, our lessons are typically recorded just 3 - 4 days before they are released, ensuring that Fellows receive timely, relevant, and up-to-date insights throughout the year.
How long is the Fellowship?
The Fellowship runs for one year (365 Days).
How much time should I dedicate?
Plan to spend approximately 20–25 minutes each day watching the lesson, or 2–3 hours per week, along with some additional time for quarterly quizzes or assignments, reading the supplementary resources we share, and attending the monthly live sessions, which typically last 60–75 minutes.
In total, you can expect to spend less than 8 to 9 hours per month investing in your professional growth and future. Considering the pace at which everything is evolving, we believe it's a small investment of time that can have a lasting impact on your career.

The Fellowship is highly selective.
